I began my first sales job in 1988 working for a company in St. Paul Minnesota as the only Canadian on the North American sales team.
In 1989. Al Kauder of Max Sacks International, the predecessor to the Track Selling Institute, introduced the Track Selling System to my organization. In 1990, As a result of that training and a lot of hard work on my part, I was recognized as the top-performing salesperson in North America!
I shifted my career path in 2003 to become a professional fundraiser. The Track Selling principles I had adopted early in my sales career maintained their value and continued to serve me well throughout my fundraising career, as I progressed to more senior-level executive roles.
Track Selling had an immediate and lasting impact on my career. It continues to wear well, after more than 30 years.
